Cecilia Alaniz Obituary (1921

DONNA- Cecilia Alaniz went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Weslaco Nursing & Rehab Center in Weslaco. She was born to Juan Martinez and Felicitas Vasquez on November 11, 1921 in Mission Texas. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Cipriano Alaniz Sr.; son, Israel Alaniz,; Daughter Maria Teresa Castillo; brother, Juanito Martinez; sister Juanita Tamez and her parents, Juan & Felicitas Martinez. She is survived by her loving children, Cipriano Alaniz Jr., Silvia Alaniz Sisnernos, Erasmo Alaniz, Daniel Alaniz, Rodolfo Alaniz, Carolina Alaniz Pena, Jose Efrain Alaniz, Roberto Alaniz and Jesus Alaniz. She is also survived by her siblings, Dionicia Ybarra, Maria Casarez, Grabiela Sauceda and Micaela Morales along with 21 Grandchildren, 28 Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receieve friends on Sunday, October 7, 2012 and Monday October 8, 2012 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm on both days At Vaughan Memorial Chapel in Donna. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow to Donna City Cemetery in Donna. Funeral arrangements and services have been entrusted to the care of Vaughan Funeral Home of Donna.
