DONNA a" Cristina C. Ortega , 88 passed away on August 17, 2012 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital DeKalb, Ill . She was born to Cruz Cardenas and Feliberta Guerrero on December 15, 1923 in Buda, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Cruz and Feliberta Cardenas . She is survived by her children, Gerardo (Maria Luisa) Ortega, Jose Pablo (Rosa) Ortega Jr. Maia Socorro Primrose and Daniel Eduardo(Veronica) Ortega. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, her brother, Cesario Cardenas and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends today, Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 1pm to 9pm with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Vaughan Memorial Chapel in Donna. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna, Interment will follow to Donna City Cemetery in Donna.
