Dolores Coronado

Dolores "Lola" Gonzalez Coronado was a remarkable woman, a beacon of love,
resilience, and faith, whose radiant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Born on
August 22, 1944, Dolores embodied the essence of compassion and empathy, a natural
nurturer who devoted her life to her beloved family. She was a refuge in times of storm,
a constant source of comfort and warmth. Her resilience was a testament to her strong
faith, a faith that illuminated her path in life and guided her actions. Her contagious
laugh will be deeply missed.

Dolores deeply loved her family and friends. Dolores is survived by her children, Lazara
Coronado (Matthew Childress), Francisco Jr., and Leticia Keasey (Glenn),
stepdaughter, her cherished grandchildren, Natalia Isabella Childress and Curtis Diego
Rafael Childress, sister Estela Navarro, and several nephews and nieces. She was
preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francisco Coronado Sr. her parents Lazara
and Juan M. Gonzalez, and her brothers Juan and Guadalupe Gonzalez. Dolores was a
woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was taking care of her
family or watching her favorite "stories," she radiated uplifting warmth and love.

Dolores was a devout Catholic, always guided by her faith in every aspect of her life. A
viewing and visitation for Dolores will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm
at the Family Funeral Home in Edinburg, followed by the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. The
funeral mass will be on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker
Catholic Church. Interment will follow at 11:00 am at the Val Verde Memorial Gardens.
